Docs / Claude and the connector

Connect Claude

Cretask's connector is a hosted MCP server at mcp.cretask.com. Claude connects to it with your account, not with a copy of your data.

Add the connector

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector pointing at https://mcp.cretask.com/mcp. Claude hands you to Cretask's own authorisation screen, where you sign in with the same account you use in the app.

There is no API key to paste and nothing is copied between accounts. The connector reads your live workspace, so what Claude sees is what you see.

Choose what it can reach

The consent screen lists exactly what is being asked for: reading tasks and projects, creating and updating them, and adding notes. Read-only is a perfectly good choice if you only want Claude to summarise your week.

Whatever you grant, the connector is still you. It cannot do anything your own role cannot do, so a member's connector cannot invite people or delete a project.

Revoke it whenever

Settings, Security lists your active grants and revokes any of them. Revoking takes effect immediately and the connector stops working on the next request.

Changing your password does not silently keep an old grant alive. If you are unsure what has access, revoke everything and reconnect the one client you actually use.

Start getting things done

Bring every task, project and plan into one place, and let Claude do the busywork alongside you.
