Table
Table is the dense view: real columns, a pinned first column, and one scroller for both axes. Column widths, order, which columns are hidden, row height and grid lines are yours, stored per person on the device you set them on. They are never workspace settings, so tightening your rows does not tighten anyone else's.
The checkbox on a row selects it, it does not complete the task. Completing is the Status column's job. Shift-click takes a range and the header box takes everything visible; a selection raises a bulk bar that can set status, assign, set a due date, move, duplicate or delete, each one the single-row action applied to everything you picked.
Sorting cycles ascending, descending, then back to the view's own manual order. It sorts inside each group, keeps subtasks under their parent, and always puts empty values last in both directions.
Board
Board is one column per status. The column is a soft well and the cards inside it are white, so the only colour on a column is its status dot. Each column scrolls its own cards, which keeps a two-status workspace from drawing two enormous columns.
Drag a card between columns to change its status, and the position you drop it in is kept, not just the column. Dragging uses the browser's own drag and drop, so it is not keyboard-operable; every card also carries a Move to menu for that reason.
Calendar
Calendar is a whole month, six weeks always, Monday first, with a rail for the day you have selected. There are no hour rows, because a due date in Cretask is a day and a time grid would draw a field the product does not have.
The rail also holds the unscheduled pile. Drag a task from the pile onto a day to schedule it, and drag a scheduled task back onto the pile to clear its date. Dragging only ever writes the due date, so nobody is notified that something moved a day.
What is remembered
Cretask stores two things about views: what you last looked at on each surface, and the view you last deliberately switched to anywhere. A surface you have opened before comes back as you left it. One you have never opened, like a project you were just invited to, opens in the view you last chose.
This is per person and per device, kept in the browser rather than in the workspace, so switching one project to Table never reaches back and changes another you had set to Board.
