Create your workspace
Sign up with email, Google or Apple. The first time you sign in, Cretask creates a workspace for you and makes you its owner. There is nothing to configure before you can start, and nothing you pick now that you cannot change later.
The web app and the iOS app are the same account and the same data. Signing in on your phone with the same method drops you into the workspace you just made, with everything already there.
Add a project
A project is a container for work that belongs together: a launch, a client, a quarter. Give it a name and it appears in the sidebar. You do not need a project to create a task, but a workspace with three or four honest projects is much easier to plan against than one long list.
Every member of the workspace can see every project. Projects are not an access boundary, they are an organising one, so do not use a separate project to hide work from a colleague.
Put real work in it
Add tasks the way you would write them down: a short title, an assignee if you know it, a due date if there is one. Everything else, including the description, subtasks, attachments and custom fields, can wait until the task actually needs it.
Resist the urge to import three hundred old items on day one. A list that reflects this week is worth more than a complete archive nobody trusts.
Pick the view that suits the work
Open the project and switch between Table, Board and Calendar from the tab strip. Cretask remembers your choice per surface and per device, so a project you always read as a board stays a board without changing how anything else opens.
Once that feels right, connect Claude if you want to work in plain language, and invite the people who are actually doing the work.
